March Madness
So once again, one of my favorite times of year is here...MARCH MADNESS!! I just spent about 2.5 hours researching teams online (while getting paid at work, mind you).
How about 10 random facts to help you out with your brackets?
1. Niagara averages 82.5 points a game.
2. Stanford has won the first round, but lost in the 2nd in 5 of the last 6 years.
3. Charlotte allows an average of 71.7 ppg.
4. Washington (props to Sven for picking them months ago) is 5-0 at neutral sites this year.
5. Boston College is 4-4 in their last 8 games
6. Penn has won 12 of their last 13 and went 13-1 in the Ivy League
7. LSU had both the SEC Freshman of the Year (Davis) and Player of the Year (Bass).
8. Last year was the first time a Skip Prosser coached team made the Sweet 16 in 8 tries.
9. Seth Davis calls NC State "not all that good".
10. West Virginia has a dude on their team named Kevin Pittsnogle. That just sounds funny.
Of course, none of this will matter by this time on Thursday--but man, this is fun. ;)
