**Looks like the Tigers have come back to Earth a little bit, so to speak. For what it's worth, the White Sox are the defending World Series champions and it's a looooooong season.
**The Wings have clinched the President's Trophy and Home Ice advantage throughout the playoffs with their win last night over Edmonton. Let's just hope this leads them to more of a 2002 type play-off performance than a 2004 or a 1996 one.
**The folks in Columbus are up in arms today because Ohio State has changed their jerseys for next season. Read this article in the Columbus paper...someone actually says that he's so upset about this change that he can barely concentrate on typing the email. Seriously, guys, the OSU "education" jokes you could make about that are too damn easy. For what it's worth, I can't say I like the new design, but in this day and age, that kind of thing is more up to Nike than it is your school. Deal with it, Suckeyes.
